Job Summary
Subject to formal establishment a vacancy will arise for a OR8 to serve as J3/5 FGen WO at Northwood Headquarters on FTRS (HC) Terms and Conditions of Service (TaCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 1 Apr 26 or earlier if achievable.
Unit Function:
IGDN commands supports and assures the UKs PJOBs to deliver and enable ops protect sovereignty and develop global hubs as strategic capabilities.
Position Role:
Manage and deliver coherent co-ordinated FGEN output understanding and providing advice to OBs inclusive of the DA network CSOC and the PJOBs iot support the UKs military standing commitments ensuring that the PJOBs are enabled to deliver their Defence output and support to contingent Ops. Providing linkage between J1 J3 and J5 areas of IGDN and managing the HLB FGEN process (trawls and DWRs) on the overseas locations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Force Generation (FGen) process Court Martial (CM) allocation and response to DWRs from AIR for IGDN HQ and all overseas bases.
- Manage the IGDN Duty Officers roster and act as IGDN Duty Officer as required.
- Manage and develop future projects as directed.
- Take a determined and uncompromising approach to resolving problems and issues in an innovative and timely manner.
- Act as IGDN Duty Officer as required.
