Duties/Responsibilities:

Below are theprimary duties and essential functions of an employee in this position. • Answer phone calls from patients and other parties as needed.â
• Prepare charts for medical appointments.â
• Assistwith patient medicationassistanceprocesses as needed.â
• Submit and track prior authorizations for medication and services.â
• Manage the referral process.â
• Obtain and accurately document vital signs during all medication appointments.â
• Communicate changes in patient conditions to theappropriate teammembers.
• Collaborate with providers nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
• Support clinic flow and efficiencyto ensure smooth clinic operations anda high-quality patient experience.
• Track and log equipment maintenance.â
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Education:High School Diploma or GEDrequired.â
• Experience:Prefer two (2) years of experience working in a medical environment.
• Certificate or Professional License:No Certificate or Professional Licenserequired. Actively pursuinga CertifiedMedical Assistant (CMA) or Nursing Degree preferred.
• Valid drivers license and activeautoinsurancecoverage.
• Satisfactory results from criminaland driving record background checks
