Position Summary:
A Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity. The Cycle Counter is responsible for monitoring warehouse production and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory. Duties also include miscellaneous stores/stockroom activities to maintain inventory accuracy through proper processing of material receipts transfers and issues.
Position Responsibilities:
- Monitoring Inventory Levels within Plant
- Maintain product identification and location program
- Research inventory discrepancies and ability to reconcile them
- Responsible for completing physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations
- Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner
- Document damaged product (if within Cycle Count Process)
- Inputting Cycle Count Data (Daily Counts Data)
- Transferring / Moving material as needed
Qualifications :
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment heat and cold.
- Ability to use hands to handle control or feel objects tools or controls.
- Ability to stand prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to hear sounds and differentiate between them.
- Ability to visually understand distance peripheral vision depth perception ability to adjust focus and color vision.
Education/Experience:
- Must have a high school diploma GED or equivalent
- Relevant warehouse experience within the last 5 years
- Recent experience with Cycle counting/inventory
- Certified to operate forklift/reach truck at current or previous company
- Computer literate Word Excel and experience in any WMS. SAP is preferred.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment while keeping correct data
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Organizational Skills Detail Oriented
