Job Summary
Job Title: Steel Fixer
Locations: Lahore and Karachi Pakistan
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking experienced Steel Fixers for projects in Lahore and Karachi. Youll read blueprints cut and shape steel reinforcement and ensure accurate placement in concrete structures. Must be physically fit safety-conscious and able to work in a team.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret construction blueprints and technical drawings
- Cut bend and shape steel bars and mesh to specifications
- Tie rebar using wire pliers and other tools
- Position and secure steel reinforcement in concrete forms
- Collaborate with site managers and engineers to ensure accuracy
- Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear
- Inspect completed work for compliance with standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a steel fixer or similar role
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of construction safety practices
- Physical strength and stamina for manual labor
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and precision in work
- Valid certification or training in steel fixing preferred
