About the Opportunity
Our clientis looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join their technology team. This is an excellent opportunity for a software testing professional with at least one year of experience to work on large-scale systems ensuring the quality and performance of digital solutions that support a major commercial operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate closely with project teams to interpret business requirements and analyze user needs.
- Test Planning: Design and implement comprehensive test plans covering both functional and non-functional requirements to ensure maximum test coverage.
- Execution: Conduct rigorous feature testing integration testing and performance testing of core systems.
- Reporting: Document detailed test results track defects and monitor issue status updates through to resolution.
- Process Governance: Monitor and govern the overall QA process ensuring strict adherence to testing cycle activities and standards.
- Development Support: Support the development team by creating detailed test cases and clarifying project requirements to prevent defects early in the lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- Education: Higher Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Statistics Information Systems Engineering or a related IT field.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in Software QA.
- Testing Expertise: Proven experience in managing and executing various testing methodologies including:
- SIT (System Integration Testing)
- UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
- Load & Performance Testing
- Resilience & Regression Testing
- Technical Skills:
- Solid knowledge of SQL is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and test automation tools is a significant advantage.
