Job Summary
About the Role
We have a vacancy for an experienced HC truck driver to join our role available is a full time permanent position.
Role Responsibilities
Your new role will include:
- Ensuring deliveries are on time
- Delivering food products to the food service customers in the Sydney metro area
- Occasionally lifting cartons weighing 15 20kg
- Maintaining professional and friendly customer service to all BEC customers
- Assist other team members when necessary to load their vehicles
- Cross checking all freight being loaded against the load sheet
- Load the truck in reverse order following the LIFO process
- Ensuring that the load is safe and secure ready for transit
- Ensuring the truck is kept clean and tidy and maintained properly
About You
We are ideally looking for a candidate with the following key skills:
- Significant experience as a driver in the Sydney metro and surrounds
- A current Australian HC drivers licence is essential
- A clean RTA record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
