Job Summary

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Assembly Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing implementing and optimizing assembly processes to ensure efficient and high-quality production of our products. The role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles and experience in assembly processes. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop assembly processes for new and existing products - Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs - Conduct time studies and create work instructions to ensure consistency in assembly processes - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely production - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly process - Monitor and analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvement - Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for assembly processes - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies - Train and mentor assembly technicians on new processes and procedures - Participate in new product development projects to ensure efficient and effective assembly processes are in place Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in assembly process engineering - Strong understanding of engineering principles and assembly processes - Experience in process improvement and optimization - Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in using CAD software - Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices - Willingness to travel as needed We offer a competitive salary and benefits package as well as opportunities for growth and development within our company.
