Position Overview:
The school is seeking a passionate and skilled Primary Years Programme (PYP) Teacher to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and a commitment to creating a stimulating and nurturing learning environment for young students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework encouraging inquiry and exploration.
- Build a classroom environment that inspires curiosity collaboration and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with other teachers to create interdisciplinary units of inquiry.
- Actively contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the PYP curriculum.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians providing regular updates on student progress.
Candidate Requirements:
- A recognized national/state teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS or equivalent).
- Experience teaching in the PYP or a strong understanding of the IB philosophy and inquiry-based learning.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
- Candidates must have the right to live and work in the EU. Unfortunately the school cannot provide visa sponsorship.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
