Job Summary
Senior Infrastructure Draftsman (Roads & Utilities) will be responsible for preparing reviewing and coordinating detailed infrastructure drawings related to roads highways and underground utilities in compliance with project specifications authority standards and international best practices. The role requires strong coordination with design engineers BIM teams and other disciplines to ensure accurate and clash-free deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed drawings for road alignments profiles cross-sections junctions interchanges and pavement details.
- Develop drawings for grading earthworks kerbs footpaths road markings and signage
- Prepare and coordinate drawings for stormwater sewerage water supply irrigation electrical and telecom networks.

Produce plan & profile drawings utility layouts and typical details.

Coordinate utility corridors and resolve clashes with other services.
Coordinate with civil structural MEP and BIM teams.

Review junior draftsmens drawings and ensure quality and accuracy.

Incorporate design changes comments and authority review feedback
- Maintain drawing registers and ensure document control procedures are followed.

Ensure drawings adhere to project CAD/BIM standards and naming conventions.

Assist in authority submissions and IFC deliverables.
AutoCAD (mandatory)
- MS Office (basic reporting and coordination
Strong knowledge of infrastructure design and construction drawings.

Excellent understanding of utility coordination and road design standards.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and coordination abilities.
Key Qualifications:

Diploma in Civil Engineering or Drafting.

Relevant certifications in AutoCAD / Civil 3D are an advantage.
- Experience on large-scale infrastructure urban development or mega projects.

Familiarity Qatar authority requirements.

Experience working in multi-disciplinary and BIM-enabled environments.
