Role Overview
We are seeking a licensed and detail-oriented Pharmacist to support daily pharmacy operations dispense medications accurately counsel patients ensure regulatory compliance and maintain high standards of customer service and clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities
Dispensing & Patient Care
Dispense prescription and OTC medications accurately.
Verify prescriptions and ensure legality/completeness.
Counsel patients on medication use dosage side effects and interactions.
Conduct MTM reviews and basic health checks (BP blood sugar).
Clinical & Technical Duties
Review prescriptions for therapeutic compatibility.
Document clinical interventions per pharmacy standards.
Ensure proper handling and storage of medications including controlled drugs.
Operational Management
Oversee daily pharmacy workflow and regulatory compliance.
Maintain accurate patient and financial records.
Manage inventory stock control ordering and expiry monitoring.
Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
Ensure a clean organized and professionally dressed work environment.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure 100% adherence to PCN NAFDAC and statutory requirements.
Maintain controlled drug registers and documentation.
Stay updated on new medications guidelines and regulations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Prescription Accuracy: 98% with zero errors
Customer Wait Time: < 5 minutes
Inventory Variance: < 3% monthly
Counseling Rate: 90%
Customer Satisfaction: 85%
Customer Retention: 75% monthly
Regulatory Compliance: 100% adherence
Stockouts: < 5% monthly
Qualifications
from an accredited institution.
Valid PCN license.
2-4 years experience in retail/community pharmacy.
Strong knowledge of drugs supplements and interactions.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage inventory and supervise staff.
Proficiency with pharmacy management systems (added advantage).
