Position Overview
Were seeking a Mechatronic Engineer who thrives at the intersection of mechanical systems electronics and software.
In this role youll design and integrate intelligent diagnostic tools that combine mechanical components sensors and embedded systems with cloud-connected analytics.
Your work will bridge the gap between hardware innovation and data intelligence enabling DEPLOYs client to the next generation of smart diagnostic platforms.
Core Responsibilities
1. Automation & Robotics
- Design and optimize automated diagnostic machinery and tire inspection systems.
- Develop control systems for robotics that measure tread depth wear and alignment.
2. Embedded Systems Development
- Integrate sensors actuators and microcontrollers into diagnostic hardware.
- Design embedded firmware for sensor communication data collection and system control.
3. System Integration
- Ensure seamless operation between mechanical electrical and software components.
- Collaborate with software engineers to transmit real-time sensor data into DEPLOYs clients analytics platform.
4. Predictive Maintenance Tools
- Develop systems that monitor wear patterns and predict component failure.
- Use sensor data and machine learning models to automate maintenance recommendations.
5. Product Reliability & Optimization
- Improve diagnostic tool accuracy reliability and durability.
- Conduct system testing calibration and continuous improvement for field reliability.
Key Projects You May Work On
- Designing automated tread measurement systems using cameras lasers or depth sensors.
- Integrating IoT-enabled hardware for real-time fleet diagnostics.
- Developing predictive analytics tools that alert customers before failures occur.
- Enhancing diagnostic platforms with AI-driven insights and cloud connectivity.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Mechatronics Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in mechatronic or embedded system design.
- Strong background in mechanical design (SolidWorks or similar) and electronics integration.
- Hands-on experience with sensors actuators and data acquisition systems.
- Proficiency with C/C or Python for embedded and automation systems.
- Familiarity with control systems robotics and system modeling.
Preferred:
- Experience with automotive diagnostic equipment or industrial automation.
- Knowledge of IoT connectivity (BLE CAN Ethernet MQTT).
- Exposure to data analytics machine learning or cloud platforms.
- Understanding of predictive maintenance or fleet management systems.
