Compensation: $45000$47000 base salary tiered commission
Position Overview
Legacy Staffing is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Specialist Business Development on behalf of our client. This role focuses on expanding the companys client base and market presence through outside sales activities specifically targeting flooring installations and Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) construction and conversions. The ideal candidate will excel at building relationships generating signed contracts and delivering accurate project estimates while maintaining strong client rapport.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and convert inbound leads from marketing platforms while proactively pursuing new business opportunities
- Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers in construction and real estate
- Collaborate with the executive team to define and implement growth strategies
- Track and maintain accurate records of leads estimates and contracts
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Prepare and deliver presentations proposals and pitches
- Maintain deep understanding of company services and ADU regulations
- Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote services
- Consult with customers to identify flooring and ADU needs
- Resolve customer complaints and sales issues promptly
- Collaborate on sales quotas and strategies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong sales and customer service skills with negotiation experience
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Familiarity with flooring materials and installation processes is a plus
Compensation
- Base Salary: $45000$47000 annually plus commission
- Tiered Commission Structure:
- 3% on first $500K
- 4% on $500K$1.5M
- 5% above $1.5M
Education & Experience
- Proven record of sales success required
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience
- Outside or field sales experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
