Job Summary

Associate degree preferred with 2 years chemical manufacturing experience knowledge of 5S organic chemical syntheses experience on reactors Forklift Certified and trained in EPA ERCRA HAZWOPER.

Perform chemical syntheses of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) in strict accordance with written procedures and standard chemical safety practices

Work on multikilogram scale organic chemical syntheses with reactors larger than 100 gallons

Record accurate reaction notes making observations throughout the process

Maintain a meticulous work environment: return all equipment to the appropriate storage location; clean all tools equipment and surroundings after use.

Conform to applicable safety regulations including proper handling of chemicals and use of all designed safety equipment and PPE

Maintain meticulous inventory logs of raw materials and finished product.

Collect and discard chemical waste in accordance with applicable internal safety and regulatory requirements.

Accurately maintain waste and disposal logs.
