Location: New York City Area (Onsite or Remote NYC area only)
Compensation: $135000 $194000 base salary
Bonus & Benefits: Full benefits package performance bonus

HireNow Staffing is partnering with a globally recognized Am Law 50 firm to recruit a seasoned and skilled Senior Applications Engineer New Business Intake & Conflicts. This role serves as the technical owner of the firms risk and compliance application ecosystem and plays a pivotal role in advancing how the firm evaluates manages and mitigates risk at scale.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Enterprise Applications this is a highly technical hands-on position with broad visibility across IT Risk Compliance and firm leadership.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the intersection of technology risk management and business operations. You will own the stability security optimization and future-state evolution of platforms supporting New Business Intake and Conflictsmost notably Intapp Conflicts Intake Walls and Terms.
A major focus of this role is leading the migration of the firms Intapp environment from on-premise to cloud/SaaS while simultaneously expanding platform capabilities and improving business workflows. This position is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys ownership strategic influence and deep technical problem-solving in a regulated professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform the following responsibilities to be considered for interview:
  • Serve as the IT owner for all applications supporting firm risk and compliance including:
    • Intapp Conflicts
    • Intapp Intake
    • Intapp Walls
    • Intapp Terms
    • Related integrated systems
  • Lead planning and execution of the migration from on-premise Intapp platforms to cloud/SaaS environments
  • Identify and implement new capabilities enabled by cloud adoption
  • Partner closely with New Business Intake and Conflicts teams to:
    • Analyze workflows
    • Translate business requirements into technical solutions
    • Optimize application configuration and performance
  • Deliver strategic recommendations to IT and business leadership based on:
    • Platform capabilities
    • Vendor roadmaps
    • Business and compliance drivers
  • Manage the firms vendor relationship with Intapp including advocacy for enhancements and roadmap alignment
  • Lead and support application implementations upgrades enhancements and complex troubleshooting
  • Ensure ongoing health performance security and stability of all owned applications
  • Monitor system performance and capacity lead capacity planning initiatives
  • Collaborate with infrastructure security data and development teams to deliver new functionality
  • Maintain accurate architecture diagrams system documentation and support materials
  • Adhere to IT change management SDLC incident management and governance processes
  • Support training testing and quality assurance efforts; partner with QA on test scripts and remediation
  • Provide guidance and coaching to junior analysts; collaborate with on-site off-site and offshore teams
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
Candidates must meet all of the following to be considered:
  • 7 years of information technology experience
  • 5 years supporting enterprise application platforms
  • 3 years of hands-on experience with Intapp Conflicts Intake Walls and Terms (or equivalent risk and compliance systems)
  • 3 years supporting cloud/SaaS platforms
  • Strong experience with system integrations (APIs web services FTP database-to-database)
  • Proficiency with SQL Server including querying reporting and development
  • Strong understanding of IT change management SDLC and incident management
  • Ability to work onsite or remotely within the NYC area
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Emphasized)
Candidates meeting these criteria will receive priority consideration.
  • Prior experience in a legal or professional services environment
  • Experience leading or supporting large-scale cloud migrations
  • Deep expertise with Intapp configuration tools including Forms Workflows and datasets
  • Familiarity with AI and GenAI applications within legal technology or enterprise IT environments
  • Experience using JIRA Confluence or similar project management tools
  • Knowledge of security and data governance best practices
  • Experience working with or presenting to executive-level stakeholders
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language
