Compensation: $170000 $225000 base salary equity

HireNow Staffing is partnering with a fast-growing software startup to recruit a Senior Product Manager AI to lead the development of AI-driven workflows across a rapidly scaling social commerce platform. This is a high-impact high-ownership role reporting directly to the CEO suited for a product leader who thrives in ambiguity moves quickly from insight to execution and wants direct influence over company-defining decisions.
This is not a roadmap-maintenance role. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to own complex AI initiatives end to end make sharp prioritization decisions and ship meaningful product at speed to be considered for interview.
The Opportunity
You will sit at the center of AI strategy and executionshaping how generative AI data-powered systems and intelligent workflows drive engagement personalization and commerce outcomes. From early discovery through launch and iteration youll own initiatives that directly impact growth and user experience.
Youll collaborate closely with engineering design and customer-facing teams balancing technical feasibility with user empathy and business outcomes. Success in this role requires strong product instincts comfort with AI concepts and the judgment to decide what to build now vs. later in a fast-moving environment.
What Youll Do
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform the following responsibilities to be considered:

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for AI capabilities from discovery and strategy through launch and iteration

Lead the development of generative AI workflows prompting systems and AI-powered features within a social commerce ecosystem

Translate customer needs and business goals into scalable technically sound AI solutions

Partner closely with engineering and design to drive execution with speed and quality

Define track and optimize success metrics for AI initiatives (e.g. accuracy conversion lift automation impact)

Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities in AI-driven engagement personalization and commerce

Ship quickly iterate relentlessly and take full ownership of high-visibility initiatives

Operate confidently in ambiguity while maintaining clarity of direction and momentum
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet all of the following to be considered:

35 years of product management experience with clear career progression and increasing scope
-
Hands-on experience building or shipping AI-powered products
-
Working familiarity with AI/ML concepts including modern AI workflows (e.g. MCP prompting systems decision engines)

Experience operating in high-growth startup environments

Strong execution skills with a track record of shipping meaningful product

Ability to collaborate deeply with engineering while maintaining product leadership

Bachelors degree from a Top 25 institution (required for earlier-career candidates in the 35-year range)
OR demonstrable startup success with outsized product impact
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Emphasized)
