Korzen Health is seeking a skilled Interventional Pulmonologist to lead and expand a comprehensive pulmonary interventional program serving Los Angeles County Valley and surrounding communities. This is a unique opportunity for a physician to play a pivotal role in developing innovative strategies enhancing high-quality pulmonary care and shaping the future of the program in a growing community.
The provider will be based in 1 Community based hospital.
Position Highlights:

Based at a community hospital with outpatient and inpatient responsibilities.
-
Focus on program development multidisciplinary collaboration and advanced interventional procedures.
-
Approximately two weeks of hospital call per month for unassigned patients.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Outpatient (Clinic):
-
Evaluate and manage a broad range of pulmonary conditions including asthma COPD ILD pulmonary nodules pulmonary hypertension and sleep-related respiratory disorders.
-
Longitudinal management of complex oncology-related pulmonary issues in collaboration with medical and radiation oncology.
-
Pre- and post-procedural visits for interventional pulmonary procedures.
Inpatient (Hospital):
-
Provide consultative pulmonology services for admitted patients including ED and non-ICU consults.
-
Support hospitalists and intensivists with respiratory management and diagnostic evaluations.
-
Perform and interpret advanced bronchoscopic and pleural procedures including:
-
Diagnostic bronchoscopy
-
Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) for mediastinal staging
-
Navigational/robotic bronchoscopy for peripheral lung lesions
-
Endobronchial therapies (stent placement debulking etc.)
-
Thoracentesis chest tube placement and other pleural procedures
-
Participate in multidisciplinary conferences (e.g. tumor board) and quality initiatives.
Program Development & Quality:
-
Assist with creating protocols pathways and quality initiatives related to lung cancer screening lung nodule management COPD and other key pulmonary conditions.

Engage in community outreach education and physician engagement.
Qualifications:
-
MD or DO from an accredited institution.
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease.
-
Pulmonary & Critical Care fellowship-trained preferred (critical care coverage optional depending on role design).
-
Eligible for California medical license and DEA.
