Key Responsibilities

Lead mentor and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
Oversee the design development and implementation of new manufacturing processes equipment and automation solutions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency quality and cost-effectiveness.
Manage engineering projects from conception through to successful completion ensuring adherence to scope budget and schedule.
Collaborate cross-functionally with production quality and R&D teams to optimize product manufacturability and resolve technical issues.
Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety regulations quality standards and environmental policies.
Develop and manage the engineering department's budget resource planning and strategic technology roadmap.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes automation and industrial engineering principles.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
Strong background in applying Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g. automation robotics Industry 4.0)
Familiarity with ERP (e.g. SAP) and PLM systems
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
