The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Holland seeking Materials Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies for material planning procurement and inventory control.
Manage and optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring material availability for production.
Oversee the entire supply chain process from raw material sourcing to finished goods delivery.
Collaborate with production sales and engineering teams to forecast material requirements and production schedules.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers monitor vendor performance and foster strong supplier relationships.
Implement and maintain robust material tracking systems and procedures to ensure accuracy and traceability.
Lead mentor and develop the materials management team.

Recommended Qualifications

5 years of progressive experience in materials management supply chain or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) for inventory control planning and procurement.
Demonstrated expertise in demand forecasting inventory optimization and strategic sourcing methodologies.
Strong leadership negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software.
Proven track record in leading ERP/MRP system implementations or major upgrades.
Familiarity with global logistics and international trade compliance.
