We are looking for skilled RNs to join our combined Surgical Cardiac Progressive Care and Neuroscience unit at our downtown Fresno campus! In this 47-bed unit you will care for a diverse patient population with various surgical cardiac and neuro comorbidities including post-open heart Left Ventricular Assist Device Pulmonary Hypertension trauma epilepsy brain tumors spinal injury and more! You should be a self-motivated team player eager to learn and ready to contribute to the efforts of this close-knit team. As the regions flagship hospital this USCF academic-affiliated facility is home to the only Level I Trauma Center Comprehensive Stroke and Comprehensive Burn Center between Los Angeles and Sacramento serving as the areas safety net provider and covering nine counties. Qualifications
Qualifications
- Graduate of approved nursing program required
- RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
- Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire or transfer into job
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
