As an Infrastructure Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within Consumer & Community Banking Team you will design implement and manage robust AWS cloud environments and automated CI/CD pipelines
Job Responsibilities
- Design deploy and manage scalable secure and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation Terraform or AWS CDK.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins GitLab CI AWS CodePipeline or similar tools.
- Automate build test and deployment processes for rapid and reliable application delivery.
- Integrate automated testing and security scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
- Write and maintain scripts for automating cloud infrastructure and application deployment (Python Bash PowerShell).
- Implement configuration management with tools like Ansible Chef or Puppet.
- Set up and manage monitoring logging and alerting systems (AWS CloudWatch ELK Stack Prometheus).
- Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
- Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud environments and pipelines.
- Collaborate with development operations and security teams to ensure seamless integration support and troubleshooting.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
Formal training or certification onDevops or Cloud engineeringconcepts and 3 years applied experience
- Proven experience with AWS services such as EKS EC2 ALB NLB S3 RDS Lambda VPC IAM and CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Strong scripting and automation skills.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g. Python Java Bash PowerShell).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation Terraform or AWS CDK.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch ELK Stack or Prometheus.
- Strong problem-solving analytical communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certifications.
- Experience with additional CI/CD tools such as Spinnaker.
- Experience in highly regulated environments or with compliance frameworks.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
