- Seeking experienced CVICU Registered Nurses (RNs) willing to also cover the Coronary Care Unit (CCU).
- Must possess Day 0 CVICU experience (immediate post-operative care).
- Hospital features 2 Cath Labs including 1 Hybrid Cath Lab.
- Opportunity to work in a smaller independent hospital focused on serving the local community.
- Location: Between Denver and Grand Junction on the I-70 Corridor.
- Housing available: Newly remodeled studios and 1-bedroom apartments within block of the hospital fully furnished utilities and Wi-Fi included (for travelers during assignment based on availability).
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730) including weekend rotation.
- Call requirement: Must participate in call rotation taking 1 call shift every 2 weeks potentially replacing guaranteed hours if requested due to staffing needs.
- Requirements:
- Strong CVICU skills with Day 0 experience.
- Active Colorado RN license in good standing.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
- At least 3 years of RN critical care experience.
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions).
- Preferred: PALS certification (AHA).
- Required application materials: Resume BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications CVICU skills sheet Nursys RN license verification proof of flu vaccine.
- Specialty areas: Critical Care (CCU) CVICU.
- Commitment to providing care that keeps community members in their hometown hospital during recovery.
