Job Overview
VPT Components is seeking an experienced Assembly Aluminum Wire Bonder to support precision assembly operations within a growing electronics manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing high-quality aluminum wire bonding on electronic and semiconductor components ensuring all assemblies meet strict production quality and reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities

Perform aluminum wire bonding on electronic and semiconductor components using manual or semi-automatic wire bonding equipment

Set up operate and adjust wire bonding machines as required

Read and interpret work instructions engineering drawings and specifications

Inspect bonded assemblies using microscopes to verify bond integrity and accuracy

Identify defects perform rework and document corrective actions

Maintain cleanroom or controlled environment standards

Follow ESD safety and quality procedures at all times

Accurately document production activities and inspection results

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet quality and output goals
Required Qualifications

Proven hands-on experience with aluminum wire bonding (required)

Experience in microelectronics or semiconductor assembly

Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Ability to work under microscopes and with precision tools

Basic knowledge of quality control and inspection methods
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in electronics manufacturing hybrid or microcircuit assembly

Familiarity with cleanroom environments

Ability to troubleshoot basic wire bonding issues
