PURPOSE
Operating as part of the International Product function the successful candidate will lead the Test center of excellence in their region with focus on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) function across all Global Payment applications ensuring new features platform changes and integrations meet defined business
compliance and customer experience requirements.


In this role the successful candidate ensures a structured efficient and user-centric approach to testing serving as a critical link between business stakeholders and delivery teams to safeguard the quality and integrity of business outcome.
This is a highly active and varied role requiring a candidate to accept / willingness to flex into tasks and activities outside of the formal job description as needed. Candidates must be able to demonstrate recent experience of similar roles and responsibilities.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy and Leadership
Define and own the UAT strategy and roadmap across all programs
Lead mentor and grow a team of UAT analysts and testers
Collaborate with UAT Delivery head senior stakeholders delivery team to ensure alignment of testing goals and priorities

Planning and Execution
Oversee the planning and execution of UAT activities including test case design scheduling execution and defect management.
Ensure thorough traceability between business requirements test scenarios and outcomes.
Manage the UAT environment and test data provisioning in collaboration with IT and QA teams.
Stakeholder management
Act as the primary point of contact between business users and delivery team during UAT cycles
Lead UAT governance meetings defect triage sessions status reporting to
executive stakeholders.
Facilitate sign offs and go/no-go decisions in collaboration with business
stakeholders and sponsors.

Risk and Quality Assurance:
Identify UAT risks issues and dependencies early and implement migration plans
Continuously assess and improve UAT processes tools and best practices
Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements related to testing.

COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS or ABILITIES / BEHAVIOR)
Strong understanding of payment acquiring systems transaction processing card schemes and merchant platforms
Understanding of payments processing systems/applications
Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end UAT
Deep knowledge of Test governance user centric validation and business process assurance.
Exceptional communication and cross functional collaboration skills.
Ability to motivate others and move toward a common vision or goal
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
Forward looking to a holistic approach
Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
Experience with large-scale organizational change management efforts
Strong experience of technology processes and tools to support UAT
English language proficiency on both spoken and written is a must


QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree from college or university
7 years of experience in UAT/QA roles with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role within payments or fintech domain.
7 years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
Certifications such as ISTQB PMP or Product Owner are a plus
