Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time
Shift: Overnight (Resting) 10pm-8am

Compensation: $16-$18/hr

Position Summary:

inHom Senior Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Overnight Caregivers (Caregivers are able to rest between duties during the night while client is sleeping)to provide safety companionship and hands-on assistance for seniors in their homes during nighttime hours. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being and security of our clients while allowing family members peace of mind. The caregiver must remain awake and alert throughout the shift to provide support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure client safety throughout the night assisting as needed.

• Provide companionship and reassurance to clients who may experience restlessness anxiety or confusion at night.

• Assist with personal care needs including toileting incontinence care repositioning and mobility assistance.

• Help with medication reminders (if applicable per care plan).

• Respond to client needs such as helping with hydration adjusting bedding or providing comfort care.

• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up washing dishes or laundry as needed.

• Document and report any changes in client condition behavior or environment.

• Follow the clients personalized care plan and company policies to ensure high-quality service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a caregiver CNA or HHA preferred but not required (training available).

• Ability to remain awake and alert throughout the entire shift.

• Compassionate patient and attentive to seniors needs.

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting transferring and repositioning clients.

• Strong communication skills and ability to follow care instructions.

• Must pass a background check and meet state caregiving requirements.

• Reliable transportation and valid drivers license (preferred).
