Summary
Varex Imaging headquartered in Salt Lake City USA is a leading innovator developer and manufacturer of X-ray imaging component solutions which includes X-ray tubes digital flat panel detectors software and other key components of X-ray imaging systems.Extensive hands-on experience with both Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through-Hole (THT) assembly lines in high-volume High-Mix Low Volume manufacturing environments Responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in PCBA manufacturing processes including SMT and Through-Hole assembly. The role involves implementing quality systems monitoring process compliance analyzing defects and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer and regulatory requirements. Maintains records and reporting systems for quality assurance and compliance.
Job Description
Your Role
- Working experience in Class 3 Electronics Manufacturing in IQC IPQC and OQC areas.
- Develop and implement quality plans inspection standards and test procedures for incoming inspection.
- Ensuring the product quality by robust IPQC & OQC by having appropriate quality plans.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-600 bare PCB inspection.
- Well versed with IPC-A-610 PCB Assembly Acceptance Criteria
- Monitor SMT THT and manual assembly processes for adherence to quality requirements.
- Hands on experience on problem solving Techniques such as 5 Why & 8D
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process and product issues.
- Analyse defects from AOI SPI FPT and functional testing prepare quality reports and metrics (FPY DPMO PPM).
- Collaborate with suppliers to address component quality related issues and conduct incoming material inspections.
- Support customer audits and respond to quality-related queries.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 ISO 13485 and ESD standards.
- Drive continuous improvement using tools like Six Sigma Lean and Kaizen.
- Develop and maintain SOPs work instructions and quality documentation.
- Conduct training for operators and technicians on quality standards and best practices.
- Documents work/deliverables according to the company standards ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
Your Profile...
- Bachelors degree in Electronics engineering with minimum 4 years of experience or
- Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering with 6 years of relevant experience.
