Position Overview:
Rock Valley is looking for a physical therapist to provide womens pelvic health services at our newest location inside the Group- Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialists. This setting allows for an exciting opportunity to care for women with pelvic health needs in the Groups newly renovated facility while still receiving opportunities for growth mentoring and continuing education as a clinician with Rock Valley. If interested the opportunity could include management of the location. The position is available full-time or part-time.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical:
- Conduct evaluations of female patients with pelvic health concerns
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the needs and goals of the patient
- Provide hands- on therapy including manual therapy and exercise with a focus on functional activities
- Educate patients on pelvic health issues treatment options and strategies for self-management.
- Collaboration with the Groups providers to ensure a comprehensive treatment approach
- Actively participate in growing the mission of Rock Valley- staying current with research and treatment techniques in the area of pelvic health.
- Demonstrate a willingness to collaborate with other pelvic health therapists in our clinics.
Managerial:
- Grow practice by meeting and exceeding demands for services
- Ensure team delivers effective customer centered care through patient outcomes satisfaction and other key performance indicators
- Ensure high level of employee engagement
- Actively engage in professional and community outreach
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have an active or be eligible for an Iowa Physical Therapy license.
- Certification or specialized training in pelvic health
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff and referring providers
