Westborough Country Club is a member owned private country club in Saint Louis. We feature Golf Tennis Swimming Fitness and Dining. We are searching for a hospitality professional to lead our food and beverage team into the future. We value our staff and invest heavily in their education to advance personally and professionally.
Job Summary
The Food & Beverage Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining services. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage management including inventory control and staff supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management and a passion for delivering exceptional upscale dining experiences in a casual dining environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the food and beverage department ensuring high standards of service and quality.
- Oversee inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with chefs to develop menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences.
- Utilize POS systems such as Jonas and JAM POS to track sales and manage transactions efficiently.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the dining areas.
Experience
- Strong knowledge of inventory control processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems particularly Jonas POS is preferred.
- Background in hospitality management with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with staff customers and vendors professionally.
