Job Summary

Transportation Specialist

We are seeking aTransportation Specialist. The transportation specialist provides safe reliable and timely transportation services for residents while assisting with personal care tasks as needed. Ensures resident safety comfort and positive experiences under the direction of the Healthcare Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport residents to appointments activities and errands safely; communicate schedules in advance.
  • Maintain company vehicles in safe clean and working condition; report maintenance issues.
  • Assist residents with hygiene dressing toileting ambulation and medication reminders.
  • Document resident progress and follow Individual Service Plans (ISP).
  • Uphold HIPAA confidentiality community policies and safety procedures.
  • Support community operations including tours mail distribution dining assistance and emergency response.
  • Participate in staff meetings in-service trainings and safety committees.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum six months caregiving experience preferably with elderly residents.
  • CPR certification within 90 days.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs stand bend walk climb stairs and assist residents with mobility.
