Description of Work
Work in this class involves independent consultation technical assistance and program/project administration in a departmental or agency wide program of considerable complexity. Positions in this class may serve as lead consultant program manager and/or project manager for the department based on their area of assignment. Work is distinguished from the I level by the scope and complexity of the program assigned. Work involves consulting with program stakeholders internal to and external to the agency and considerable analysis and interpretation of data and trends in the program area of assignment.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

Description of Work
This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $35 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
This temporary position will be assigned to the North Carolina State Hearing Aid Dealers and Fitters Board. This position is located at 701 Exposition Place NC 27615.
The North Carolina State Hearing Aid Dealers and Fitters Board (NC HaLB) is seeking a part-time (sporadic) Board Investigator to conduct independent consultation and program/project administration of considerable complexity. Work involves consulting with the Board Members the Board Administrator and external clients to the agency. The position has a considerable amount of analysis and interpretation of data in the program area of assignment.

Bachelors degree from an appropriately accredited institution and five (5) years of progressive experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
