Overview

The Senior Client Engineer is responsible for leading the design implementation and management of client device solutions across the organization. This pivotal role requires advanced expertise in mobile device management (MDM) platforms particularly JAMF and Intune as well as a strong background in solution architecture and scripting. The Senior Client Engineer works collaboratively with technical teams and leadership providing guidance mentoring and strategic insights to ensure robust scalable and secure client environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design deploy and maintain MDM solutions with a primary focus on JAMF and Intune to ensure optimal device management and security.
  • Develop and implement client device architectures that align with organizational requirements and best practices.
  • Create optimize and maintain advanced scripts to automate device management tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Provide guidance coaching and technical mentorship to engineering team members fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Partner with leadership to shape team strategy set priorities and contribute to the continuous improvement of client engineering practices.
  • Manage multiple projects and workloads effectively ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Prior hands-on experience with MDM solutions especially JAMF and Intune.
  • Basic knowledge of macOS Windows and Mobile OSs
  • Experience with solution architecture for client environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell Bash or Python.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and workloads efficiently.
  • Leadership mentality including a proactive approach to problem-solving and team development.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience geographic locations and market conditions as well as to reflect F5s differing products industries and lines of business.
