| Department Description: | The Finance Office serves the needs of the university and its constituents. It is supported by the Controllers Office which oversees the accounting cashiering procurement and student financial services operating units. The Tax and Compliance Office promotes compliance to federal and state tax laws serves as a campus resource with respect to tax issues and oversees the universitys accounts payable and payroll activities. The Budget and Treasury unit conducts budget planning capital financing endowment investment and cash management. The Office of Risk Management oversees the universitys insurance policies and loss control efforts. |

| Detailed Description: | The Assistant Budget Analyst provides fiscal and administrative support to the Budget and Planning leadership team including the Associate Director and AVP. This role is responsible for ensuring the financial integrity of the University by monitoring budget-to-actual performance developing standardized reporting formats performing complex data analysis and processing adjustments within the Workday Financial and Oracle EPM systems. The Assistant Budget Analyst serves as a key resource in identifying fiscal trends or discrepancies and prepares comprehensive summaries and ad-hoc financial reports to support departmental planning and strategic decision-making.
