The principals spend only a limited amount of time in their elegant three-bedroom apartment typically around two days per week and value a trustworthy and reliable housekeeper who can maintain their home to a consistently high standard in their absence. Working as a Housekeeper in a private London residence requires a strong sense of organisation discretion and the ability to work independently. This role would suit a professional housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining a well-presented home managing laundry and ironing with care and ensuring the apartment is always prepared for the principals arrival. The position involves running errands and grocery shopping as well as liaising with contractors when required making reliability and initiative essential qualities for success in this role.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:

• Maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of the three-bedroom apartment to a consistently high standard even during periods when the principals are not in residence.
  
• Carrying out thorough weekly cleaning including dusting vacuuming mopping and sanitising all rooms and surfaces.
  
• Managing laundry and ironing including careful handling of delicate garments and ensuring wardrobes are kept organised.
  
• Shopping for household supplies and groceries as required to ensure the apartment is fully stocked for the principals arrival.
  
• Running local errands on behalf of the principals in a timely and reliable manner.
  
• Liaising with and overseeing contractors when necessary ensuring work is completed to the principals expectations.
  
• Monitoring household supplies and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
  
• Maintaining discretion and respecting the principals privacy at all times.
  

Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:

• Three or more years of private housekeeper experience.
  
• Two excellent checkable references.
  
• Conversational English.
  
• UK working permit.
