Construction Resident Engineer – Serving Clients in Lake and McHenry Counties, IL

What Youll Do

• Serve as the onsite project representative
• On-site problem solving to provide the best solutions to the client
• Inspection duties
• Perform construction contract administration
• Develop probable construction cost estimates
• Attend client meetings (typically municipal clients)
• Supervise review and mentor staff members
• Other assignments as needed

What You Bring

• B.S. Engineering with 7 years of construction management
• Experience with utilities such as Storm Sewer Sanitary Sewer and Water Main.
• P.E. License in Illinois preferred or on P.E. track
• IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities Certification preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months
• Excellent leadership and communication skills (written and oral)
• Working knowledge and experience with state and local regulations
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge and experience with CAD programs a plus preferably MicroStation
