Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) Forensic / Behavioral Healthfor an exciting job in St. Louis MO.

Openings Available:

11 Day Shift RNs
13 Night Shift RNs

Shift Details

Day Shift: 6:00 AM 6:30 PM
Night Shift: 6:00 PM 6:30 AM
Schedule: Alternating 36 and 48 hours per week
Breaks: 30-minute break included

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to forensic psychiatric patients
Administer medications and treatments and monitor patient responses
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams
Maintain a safe secure and therapeutic environment
Respond to psychiatric and medical emergencies
Ensure compliance with infection control safety and regulatory standards
Complete documentation and reports in a timely manner
Uphold patient rights confidentiality and professional nursing ethics
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri
Ability to work 12-hour rotating schedules
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Effective verbal and written communication
Ability to work in a secure forensic or behavioral health setting
Professional reliable and adaptable

Licensure Requirement

Current and active Missouri RN license
