As part of the People and Culture department you will play an integral role in the design development and continuous improvement of the learning & development processes and programs. ð HYBRID WORK ENVIRONMENT
Vancouver-based and Toronto-based team members work in-office every other week (TuesThurs). Core attendance is required from 9 AM 3 PM on these days to support business priorities.
ð¼ A DAY IN THE LIFE
Designing Instructional Content
- Design and develop high-quality instructional materialsincluding presentations training manuals e-learning modules and multimedia resources.
- Design learning experiences with the target audience in mind.
- Create content that reflects the O2E brand voice and adheres to brand guidelines.
Partnering and Collaboration
- Partner with cross-functional teams stakeholders and subject matter experts to assess. learning needs and design training programs aligned with business goals.
Training Delivery and SME Support
- Facilitate engaging virtual and in-person training sessions webinars and workshops.
- Coach and support subject matter experts in effective learning delivery and facilitation.
Programs and Ways of Working
- Build support and continuously improve programs including onboarding leadership training and system deployments.
- Administration of the learning management system (LMS) ensuring content is up to date user access is maintained and training completion is tracked.
- Measure program effectiveness through feedback assessments and performance data and make improvements as needed.
- Manage multiple priorities adapt quickly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
ð WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- 2 years of Learning & Development experience in the assessment design development and delivery of learning solutions.
- Bachelors degree professional designation technical certification or equivalent experience in instructional design adult education learning technology or a related field.
- Strong written verbal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Ability to create engaging instructional designs for blended learning environments incorporating synchronous and asynchronous methods.
- 2 years of experience designing e-learning using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360.
- Proactive self-motivated and able to work independently in virtual environments with minimal guidance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage ambiguity adapt to change and proactively address challenges.
- Effective collaborator able to influence and work through others to achieve shared objectives.
ð COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary Range: $64000 - $80000 per annum
(The actual salary offered will be commensurate with education experience and internal equity.)
