About the Role

From our state-of-the-art facilities in the Yarra Valley our Maintenance Technician (Mechanical) plays a pivotal role in ensuring Chandons operations run safely sustainably and efficiently meticulously maintaining our mechanical systems whilst upholding our brand standards.

Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance activities to ensure safe sustainable efficient and cost-optimized operations.

Conduct maintenance administration including accurate record-keeping in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and inventory audits.

Execute maintenance plans perform fault finding and prioritize breakdown responses to ensure high-quality work.

Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to engineering projects with a focus on safety and environmental performance.

Demonstrate strong commitment and leadership in Health Safety Environment and Quality (HSEQ) practices.

Requirements:

Tertiary qualified or trades background with at least 3 years of experience in Maintenance & Technical Skills.

Proficiency in problem-solving root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.

Computer literate with experience in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) being an advantage.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

A strong commitment to HSEQ leadership and compliance with integrated management systems.
