Job Summary

JOB PURPOSE

The Wellness Trainer supports the delivery of the Stronger Together: Frailty Management Programme (FMP) and coordinates the operational rollout of BIXEPS muscle activation technology within assigned Active Ageing Centres (AACs). This role bridges programme delivery and operational administration ensuring seniors receive safe evidence-based wellness interventions while the Centre maintains readiness for future equipment-based programmes.

ROLES & RESPONSIBITIES

Frailty Management Programme (FMP)

Conduct baseline and periodic frailty assessments (CFS SPPB EQ5D).
Deliver group exercise sessions per Stronger Together protocol.
Support data collection attendance progress tracking and client reporting.
Assist Programme Lead in coordination with healthcare partners and physiotherapists.
Facilitate nutrition and engagement activities aligned to the 3-pillar FMP model.
Uphold safety risk and infection-control standards at all sessions.

BIXEPS Operations & Administration

Coordinate day-to-day operations for BIXEPS use across centres.
Manage booking scheduling and documentation of users.
Ensure safe device operation per QuantumTX SOPs (electromagnetic exposure guidelines contraindications user comfort checks).
Maintain device logs perform basic troubleshooting and liaise with vendor for maintenance and calibration.
Collect feedback pre-/post-session data (e.g. gait balance self-reported improvement) for evaluation and reporting.

Programme Support & Administration

Assist in procurement inventory control and upkeep of equipment and consumables.
Support Programme Lead in preparation of FMP reports.
Maintain documentation accuracy (attendance PAR-Q consent forms progress notes).
Coordinate volunteer and participant communications for FMP and BIXEPS sessions.
Support in cross-centre scheduling and logistical planning.

Stakeholder Engagement

Engage seniors ensuring comfort and confidence in FMP and BIXEPS participation.
Coordinate with QuantumTX for technical updates safety reviews and evaluation surveys.
Collaborate with AAC Centre Supervisors to align BIXEPS usage with AAC programmes.
Participate in donor/funder visits demonstrations and pilot briefings.

REQUIREMENTS

Diploma in Exercise Science Sports Science Physiotherapy or related health/fitness discipline.
Certifications in Senior Fitness Functional Ageing or equivalent preferred.
CPR AED First Aid certified.
13 years in community wellness rehab or senior fitness programmes.
Familiarity with Gym Tonic or equivalent evidence-based senior exercise programmes.
Basic understanding of therapeutic technologies (e.g. EMS BIXEPS physiotherapy modalities) and Clinical Frailty Sales.
Have empathy patience and motivation in working with seniors ensuring safety management for seniors with chronic conditions.
Stakeholder coordination and vendor liaison capabilities.
Strong administrative and reporting skills (Excel data logs attendance).
Physical fitness required for exercise demonstration and equipment handling.
