Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Planner Scheduler located in Guadalajara North Campus.
Reporting to the Production Planning Manager the Planner Scheduler role is
responsible for working with the materials and planning teams to ensure on-time and efficient deliveries of the final product with zero downtime.
What a typical day looks like:
- Checking the possibility of the order fulfillment based on the available resources (materials employees equipments etc.) confirmation of the order.
- Preparation of production plans input of planning data into the integrated computer system of the company notification of the purchasing group.
- Monitoring control of implementation of plans starting necessary actions in case of deviations
- Preparation of long-term plans forecasts (MPS Forecast).
- Monitoring of system accuracy in daily/weekly bases /General Item data routing BOM CFT data /non-consumed demand planned WOs.
- Preparing of Clean to build reports checking the material availability replanning if necessary informing of order desk ECO implementation tracing.
- Monitoring of stock level handling of stock differences.
- Preparing management and CFT specificized reports monitoring of KPIs.
- Giving assistance replacement in certain cases to SCM and Order desk within the CFT.
- Advises non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.
- Monitors and proactively addresses issues that impact performance to committed ship date (CSD) lead-time response time and inventory goals.
- Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs.
- May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
- Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.
- Drives process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.
- Provides input to management reschedules and /or interfaces with customer program management master scheduling customers and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes labor and material shortages backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
- Represents Order Management on various Customer Focus Teams.
- May also help inventory control supply chain management material planning and scheduling.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS as an industrial engineer or equivalent work experience.
- Bachelors Degree.
- Experience in operation planning industrial manufacturing engineering or
- related.
- Knowledge of dependent demand and independent demand.
- Intermediate English.
- BAAN or Agile systems is a plus.
- BOMs Materials.
- Experience in Customer Service.
- Intermediate Excel.
