In the role of Operations Governance - Summer Student you will aid with data entry and administrative support for our capital programs helping ensure our data is accurate complete and up to date. By supporting these operational programs you will gain exposure to how data supports operational governance and day-to-day business activities. Its an excellent job for a student who is highly organized detailed oriented and looking to build experience in operations data management and operational governance.

Placement Details:

This is a 4-month placement starting in May 2026 located in Markham or Chatham.

What you will do:

• Provide accurate and timely data entry and administrative support to Operations ensuring information is complete current and aligned with established processes and controls.
• Support capital programs and operational initiatives by maintaining trackers logs and documentation used for planning reporting and governance oversight.
• Validate reconcile and update data across office-based systems (e.g. spreadsheets document repositories databases) identifying gaps inconsistencies or errors and escalating as required.
• Assist the Operational Governance team with day-to-day coordination activities including document preparation status updates and ad-hoc reporting.
• Adapt and pivot between tasks as operational priorities shift responding to incoming requests and supporting multiple workflows concurrently.
• Maintain organized records and audit-ready documentation following established naming conventions version control and information-management standards.

Who you are:

• You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term.
• Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook).
• Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridges core values (Safety Integrity Respect Inclusion High Performance).

Working Conditions:

• Office based role located in Chatham or Markham.
• Relocation assistance is not provided.
