Job Summary

Position Summary

The Infrastructure Services Engineer is responsible for working in a team environment to support and enhance the development and management of DartPoints Infrastructure Services line of products and customers.

DartPoints suite of Infrastructure Services includes:

Multi-Tenant and Private Cloud environments
OS and anti-virus management
Full server and network device monitoring and management
Managed backup and vaulting
Managed disaster recovery and replication
Managed firewall and network appliances
Managed IPS/IDS appliances

Primary Responsibilities

Maintenance change management issue resolution lifecycle management and support of server storage network systems for DartPoints customer facing platforms
Manage availability of multi-tenant cloud platforms delivering 99.999% uptime SLA to customers
New customer provisioning and services installation
Escalation resource for Customer Support Teams
Act as final-tier escalation for critical incidents; participate in 247 on-call rotation
Maintain a working level of proficiency with all DartPoints services
Other as assigned by your supervisor

qualifications

Associates Degree in Network Services Information Technology Systems Administration or other technical discipline and 2 - 4 years of applicable experience
2-5 years hands-on experience managing Nutanix HCI in production including deployment and migrations
Deep expertise with Veeam Backup & Replication and/or Zerto in multi-site replication in enterprise or service-provider environments
Strong knowledge of hypervisors (Nutanix AHV required; VMware ESXi highly desired)
Comfortable with physical data center tasks: racking cabling smart hands hardware break-fix and DCIM tools
General understanding of IP networking is required
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Excellent documentation skills
Strong attention to detail making and keeping commitments and meeting deadlines
Relevant certifications strongly preferred: NCP-MCI VCP-DCV
