Job Summary
Certified Medication Aide
Shift Availability: WEEKENDS
Meadowbrook Care Centeris seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide to join our care team. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to residents as well as supporting high-quality resident care in alignment with each individual service plan.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications to residents and accurately document services provided.
- Assist with medication refills and maintain medication records in compliance with applicable standards.
- Maintain resident and family confidentiality at all times.
- Serve as a liaison between caregivers and nursing staff regarding residents medication needs.
- Observe and report any changes in resident condition to the appropriate staff.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality care aligned with resident service plans.
Qualifications
- Active CNA or equivalent certification required.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Completion of state-approved medication aide training/coursework.
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a similar role preferred.
- Must meet all state licensing requirements.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to diverse populations.
- Demonstrated initiative sound judgment and leadership abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
