Key Responsibilities:
Clean resident rooms bathrooms hallways common areas and offices according to health and safety standards.
Vacuum sweep mop dust polish floors and clean windows.
Wash dry and replace linens; make beds; clean mattresses.
Sanitize wash basins showers bathtubs toilets and other fixtures.
Maintain cleanliness of upholstered furniture carpets draperies and equipment.
Restock supplies such as towels soap and bathroom items.
Remove trash and transport waste to disposal areas.
Report maintenance needs promptly (e.g. leaks broken fixtures damaged furniture).
Practice proper safety and infection control procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous housekeeping experience preferred (senior living healthcare or hospitality a plus).
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
Commitment to 12 hours of annual continuing education (provided by employer).
