Slows To Go has openings for Delivery Drivers. The ideal candidate is professional time-sensitive and able to represent the company positively while delivering orders and assisting with setting up catering orders. Line cook and/or prep cook experience is preferred. Please note - candidate will drive Slows vans not personal vehicles.
Essential Duties include:
Deliver customer orders utilizing our company vehicles in a safe and timely manner
Maintain contact with Catering manager during deliveries
Accurate assembly/inspection of all catering and delivery orders
Daily commissary deliveries to our flagship restaurant on Michigan Avenue
Accurately receive and stock incoming shipments
General cleaning and maintenance tasks
Assist with kitchen prep needs between deliveries
Off-site vending assistance as required
Minimum Qualifications:
1 year of delivery driver experience
Valid state drivers license
Proof of car insurance
Clean driving record
Cash handling and excellent customer service skills
Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
Physical Demands:
Able to lift seventy (70) pounds consistently
Bending lifting twisting and grasping motions associated with moving large/bulky items
Read and understand GPS navigation to arrive at delivery destinations
Sitting in confined space while driving
