Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee land-based drilling projects for municipal water well drilling. This role will play a critical part in ensuring projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest safety and quality standards. We will teach you the business - end-to-end!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project plans and schedules for assigned drilling projects.
  • Oversee all aspects of drilling operations including budgeting permitting logistics for arrival and use of heavy equipment and contractor management.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders including clients internal teams and regulatory agencies.
  • Track project progress identify and mitigate potential risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company protocols.
  • Analyze project-related data and generate reports as required.
  • Continuously improve project management processes and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Meet regularly with managers and team at our Central Texas headquarters in Creedmoor TX.
  • Travel to client sites regularly for key project milestones to resolve project barriers and to manage key issues around the health and safety of our teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Engineering Geosciences or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or a related discipline is required.
  • Preference for PM experience within the drilling industry (water well oil & gas etc.). Other adjacent industries include Commercial and Residential Construction Utilities and Road Construction Renewable Energy Development Telecommunications Infrastructure Construction and Water Treatment Facilities Development.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time within budget and to specification.
  • Understanding or strong interest in land-based drilling operations including relevant equipment techniques and regulations.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g. MS Project Atlassian tools Primavera). MUST HAVE strong MS Excel and MS Project experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid drivers license (may be required).
  • Ability to travel to client sites with some overnight stays required.

Salary & Benefits:

This is a full-time salaried position plus an annual bonus tied to performance. The company offers full benefits including medical dental vision life and disability insurance; retirement savings plans; holiday and vacation; and continuous education and training. Salary will be commensurate with education training and experience. Our target range is around $80K to $105K Annual. Training with our specific industry processes customer-base technology tools and more will be provided. We want you to and need you to succeed!

Job Type: Full-time Salary Plus Benefits

Pay: $80000.00 - $105000.00 per year Depending on Experience.

  • Ability to Relocate: Local or relocating to the Greater Austin area is required. Preference for accessibility to South Austin / Hays County area is preferred.
