Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Develop 3D BIM models for plumbing heating electrical and fire fighting systems using industry-standard software (e.g. Revit AutoCAD MEP).
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate integration of PHE and FF systems into overall building models.
- Create and maintain project-specific content libraries for PHE and FF components.
- Perform clash detection and coordinate with other disciplines to resolve conflicts in the model.
- Generate accurate quantity take-offs and material schedules from BIM models.
- Prepare 2D drawings and documentation derived from 3D models.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes standards and regulations in model development.
- Participate in project meetings and coordinate with clients architects and engineers as needed.
- Assist in developing and maintaining BIM standards and best practices for the organization.
- Support the creation of construction and fabrication drawings based on BIM models.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes and workflows.
- Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and industry trends related to PHE and FF systems.
