The Development Officer reports to the Executive Director of Operations and is responsible for fundraising as a generalist on behalf of the university in support of key priorities.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Focus on acquisition retention and reacquisition of prospects ($1000 - $24999) in the assigned region with a primary focus on unrestricted and cultivate donors with the goal of increasing the donors support to leadership and major gift levels.
- Work closely with all levels of development officers in the division to ensure short and long-term fundraising success. This role will be assigned to at least one Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) in the division with travel expectations of 50%.
- Help to create and foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork that celebrates outcomes builds individual and team capacity and ensures that WashU UA is a preferred workplace.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including ones qualifications and performance equity with others in the department market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
