Experience: Vascular ultrasound experience preferred but not required.

Licensure certification and/or registration RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) in Vascular Sonography. ARDMS or CCI. CPR certification required.

As a Registered Vascular Sonographer on our team youll have the opportunity to work in an environment deeply committed to your personal well-being and professional development within a setting renowned for clinical excellence.

The Registered Vascular Sonographer performs a variety of technical imaging procedures and provides quality care to patients.

Workdays will be Monday Tuesday Thursday and Friday. Hours may be 7am-5:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm. No weekends no holidays no on-call. 4 10-hour shifts available.

Assesses patients for procedures ordered prior to during and after treatment according to Imaging Services/Departmental Guidelines.
Operates highly specialized equipment including radiographic CR (Computed Radiography) DR (Digital Radiography) and PACS (Picture Archive Communication System).
Trains students and staff as assigned.
Creates a safe comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
Assesses data reflective of the patient status. Interprets information needed to identify each patients requirement and/or specific needs and provides care per applicable policy and procedures.
Interacts with patients families visitors and all members of the healthcare team to develop coordinate and manage the plan of care.

What We Require:

Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training.

Experience: none

Licensure certification and/or registration: ARRT registry/ARDMS in one of the following areas: OB/Gyn Abd or Neurosonography. CPR certification required.

Other: Interpersonal technical skills and flexibility in assignments.
