This Position reports to:

Engineering Manager

Acts as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments classified as medium engineering complexity. Ensures that the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner in accordance with contract specifications quality standards safety requirements and cybersecurity policies and standards.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the Service Robotics team in Auburn Hills MI.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborating on project installation commissioning and site activities to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.
Coaching the project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation including modelling prototyping and calculations.
Leading supervising and coordinating teams (less than 10 members) in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects.
Applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects including modelling prototyping simulation and calculations.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferably in Robotics or Mechatronics.
5 years of experience in robotics and project execution.
You are highly skilled in robotics programming and design software with a strong desire to contribute to the health and life sciences market.
You possess advanced knowledge of robot programming automation safety standards and a solid understanding of the mechanical and electrical aspects of robotic application cells.
You are passionate about innovation and committed to delivering excellence.
