What are we looking for
We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our Field Sales this role you will be responsible for selling a best of breed Identity and lateral movement detection and prevention solution. To be successful as a sales engineer you should possess an in-depth knowledge of technical products and services and be able to relate this knowledge in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers. You should be driven to achieve your sales goals and should have excellent sales and customer service skills.
What will you do
- Work with sales partner(s) to develop territory and account strategies and campaigns
- Understand customer requirements as they relate to security architectures across data center cloud and enterprise environments
- Track and document aspects of the sales cycle including elements that are the primary responsibility of the Sales Engineer
- Lead Proof of concept/value engagements
- Prepare and lead technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work.
- Secure orders guarantee product standards and assure product delivery.
- Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective.
- Active participant within the greater technical team sharing experience best practices etc.
What skills and knowledge should you bring
- Bachelor in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience in real-world cyber security sales and/or consulting.
- 7 years of experience in the computer networking or security space ideally in a pre-sales role.
- Broad understanding of security solutions and technologies.
- Ability to explain and demonstrate complex product/security solutions both technically and with senior leadership.
- Superior communication skills including whiteboarding public speaking and technical writing.
- Operational or sales experiences with SaaS Identity or Active Directory a plus.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 40% of the time with occasional spikes above 50%.
