In the role of Project Management intern you will provide project-specific and portfolio level support to a dynamic team of project managers performing complex energy pipeline replacement projects. Its an excellent job for Junior and Senior-year engineering or construction management students who are interested in careers in energy and/or industrial construction management.

Placement Details:

This is an 3 month placement starting in June 2026 located in Enbridges offices in either Duluth MN or Houston TX. (Possibility of extension)

What you will do:

  • Learn and apply project governance and tools to directly support project managers with complex project management administrative responsibilities.
  • Develop skills in managing projects leveraging a matrix organizational structure.
  • Participate in site visits to active construction sites.
  • Go under the hood of project execution to support strategic project execution continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Gain visibility to the various roles and meet the people who work in concert to deliver complex projects including Engineering Construction Quality Project Controls Environment and others.
  • Build a working knowledge of codes standards and regulations that govern energy pipeline construction and operation.

Who you are:

  • You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying Engineering or Construction management and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term.
  • Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook).
  • Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridges core values (Safety Integrity Respect Inclusion High Performance).
  • Have a strong interest in future roles involving people leadership.
  • Enjoy working in both office and field environments.

Working Conditions:

  • Office based role located in Duluth MN or Houston TX (Energy Corridor)
  • Occasional company-sponsored travel to Enbridge offices and/or field locations.
  • Relocation assistance is not provided.

Please note that this is a role providing contract labour to Enbridge through Raise who manages Enbridges Student Contractor Program. If you are selected for this position you will be employed by Raise and will not be an employee of Enbridge.
